We carry out residential valuations for many reasons, those listed above are just a few. Often, we are instructed by the property owner but we also receive instructions from Accountants and Solicitors on a regular basis.

We have recently valued a wide diversity of properties for clients ranging from an exclusive waterside property at Feock, a partially built split level house overlooking Fistral Beach Newquay, a detached bungalow at St Agnes and a refurbished terraced house in Redruth.

We also specialise in Help to Buy Valuations.

Under the Government Help to Buy Scheme if you sell your house or want to pay off the Help to Buy provider then you will need a valuation from a Chartered Surveyor.

We are finding as the interest free loan periods are starting to run out or owners are moving on that there is an increasing need for these valuations but not everybody is aware of this so if you are selling and you have a Help to Buy loan arrange your valuation in good time so as not to delay your sale or refinancing.

The valuation will involve a visit to the property although the level of inspection is not as detailed as a HomeBuyers Survey or a Building Survey, we will note the general overall condition of the building, particularly as any major defects will of course affect the value. Our inspection includes the outside of the property, gardens, grounds and outbuildings as well as all internal areas.
